If you go to the New York International Auto Show here don't forget about the North hall. Some of the cleanest and least used bathrooms in the whole convention center too. If you go Saturday go early!

was here for Bookcon 2015, great event. can't get over how huge this place is! tip, if events get crazy & lines for the girls bathrooms are super long, they'll convert some men's rooms to ladies rooms

Enjoyed being a part of the NY NOW trade show here. The staff were very friendly. Recommend bringing your own water and food if you're an exhibitor as concessions can get somewhat pricey.

for New York Comic Con tickets, keep an eye on their Twitter/Facebook pages to know when they go on sale. Typically its in Spring. Also if you work in a creative field, apply for a Pro pass its cheap!

I had the best chicken pot pie of my life here downstairs. Mendy's is good and you feel like you're living in a Seinfeld reference, but it's freaking pricey.. sandwich & a soda is 20 bucks.

Plenty of cool events and conventions here. Lots of construction surrounds the building, though, so be careful. Is now accessible by Subway. Mega and Bolt Bus stop right across the street.

After a long day of exhibiting (or attending!) definitely head over to Uncle Jack's Steakhouse and unwind. Hands down the best steaks on the island. Located on 9th Ave. between 34th and 35th.

Great location for an event! Just went there for Comic Con 2013! Advice? Park at the garage on 42nd street that has the online coupon for Javitz center events.

There are usually two Sabrett carts. For some reason, one can have a long line while 200 feet away, no line at all. Don't waste time waiting. Check the other!

Beautiful structure. They used to have an open balcony in the back that looked out over the Hudson but for some reason now it's been closed.

Also, if you're going to sell your liver to eat there, make sure you try a gyro from the Greek joint in the basement. It's actually delicious. Still too pricey though!

Auto show was great. Big gripe with lack of outlets to recharge phones. So much hype about social media and then 3 charging stations for thousands of ppl.

Great place to hold a decent size convention but there is poor reception in the place. Also, I wish it would expand to be larger.

Try the Sabrett Hot Dogs - Better than your average street hot dog and pretty much the only thing I'd eat even if I wasn't hungry and stuck at NY Comic Con.

Wear comfortable shoes, the floors here are punishing and unforgiving. Also, eat elsewhere, food is ridiculously overpriced $4 for a bottle of water.

If you need to take a cab outta here, try and do it as early as possible. 5pm is not the time for success. If you have to leave after 5, use ground link.
