Lamb dishes (tagine or shoulder, depends) are both extremely nice.
Decent specials each day, good cakes. Better value than buying lunch from Tesco nearby I think.
Really good small place. The Naga isn't for anyone but the spice-hardy but it is actually really nice as well, not just pure heat.
Half price coffee before 10:30!
I can normally cope with slow service, but these guys were ridiculously slow. It doesn't take 25 minutes to make a bloody crepe...
Fantastic wee golf course. Have 9 holes, pop into Mallaig for lunch then head back for an inward nine!
The Tetrazione panini was awesome. Not a combo I would have thought of (prosciutto and shrimp), but it was great and they don't skimp on either. Superb.
The French-style burger was pretty good (blue cheese, not stingy with it either).
If getting food, ask for chips and salsa. They're free but it seems you need to ask for them.
For a quick/light dinner, splitting some of the $3 appetisers is a good shout. Some real tasty stuff
The Bailey Burger was good. The fries were *really* good. Little stingy with the blue cheese though.
Go see a Knicks game. I loved it and until now I haven't been a basketball person
Doro Wat was pretty good, but the Bati Tibs were brilliant! Awesome food. Very helpful service too (recommendations etc).
Excellent food. For the $14 lunch buffet you get brought Chicken Tandoori, Naan etc as well. Great stuff!
If, like me, you are coming from far and have large luggage then dear God carry it. If you wheel it, it will be an absolute nightmare (in my case just as Knicks v Celtics was finishing...)
