jjprojects: There have some good wine and good deals at this place.

jjprojects: Good vibe. One of the only long-standing, goid small bars in the area.
4. Well Connected Cafe
jjprojects: The free WiFi is most welcome here. Some powerpoints upstairs too if you need them.
5. Mt Atkinson
jjprojects: 360 views of Auckland city, Manukau Harbour and the Waitakere Ranges. Easy walk to the top, or drive.
6. AB HOTEL (Craft CIDERs & Craft BEERs + Beer Garden)
jjprojects: Not a bad bottleshop attached to this. decent selection on wine for a small place.
7. La Banette Patisserie
jjprojects: New bakery, just 1 week old (June 17, 2010). Looks good. They gave me a free extra sample just now when I bought a croissant. Nice of them :)"

jjprojects: Gourmet Fish & Chips. Not cheap but good. Good selection of grilled and battered fish.
9. Sappho Books, Cafe & Wine Bar
jjprojects: My fav cafe in Glebe. Nice relaxing courtyard.
10. Stripe Cafe
jjprojects: Nice outside courtyard, for those sunny days. Warm fire inside.
11. Sonoma Bakery Café
jjprojects: Great bread and coffee here. Not open long hours so you have to get in early. Not inexpensive, as far as bread goes.
12. Life and Balance Discover Happiness
jjprojects: Don't attend classes here myself but have heard it's very good. Picked up gift cert here.
13. Michael Lett
jjprojects: Some of the best artists in NZ show here.
14. Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe
jjprojects: Some of the best beer on the planet, no joke. Try the India Pale Ale.
15. Titirangi Village Kebab
jjprojects: Great view through kauri trees from the kebab shop.
jjprojects: This is a public, location-based, online art space located next to Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. Any artist is free to Check In at this place and upload images of their own artwork.

jjprojects: Nice to sit out on the balcony on St John's Rd if it's a sunny day and there's room. It's not big.

jjprojects: Some great cafes in the village. My faves are Vevo and The Hardware.

26. Dr HJ Foley Rest Park
jjprojects: Patk recently redeveloped. It now includes a better playground and free WiFi, which is part of a public sculpture!
27. Hell Pizza
jjprojects: Decent pizza, and I like the Food hygiene grade A certificate they have.
jjprojects: Most beautiful suburb in Auckland. Lots of kauri trees.
29. Daikoku Ramen Restaurant
jjprojects: A waitress offered me the dessert of someone at our table who had ordered a set menu but left without eating the dessert. Unexpected and generous. It was a fun experience overall.
30. Doytao Thai
jjprojects: On the expensive side compared to the popular Thai on Wok, but tasty and open on Mondays.
