Joe Crobak: Open Spring through Fall, this is a great place to pickup local produce, baked goods, or ice cream.

Joe Crobak: Beautiful scenery and plenty to do - hiking, ice skating, swimming, and more.

Joe Crobak: Beware that the cheddar cheese on the burger is more like cheese wiz than normal cheddar!

Joe Crobak: The sandwiches are delicious. Lots of interesting options from burgers to tofu wraps.

Joe Crobak: For those of age, the whiskey is great and there's a really cool tour of the distillery. How this place came about is a neat story.

Joe Crobak: Rock shrimp tempura is excellent!
16. Minnewaska State Park Preserve
Joe Crobak: Tons of hiking from short trails to long. In the summer, there's swimming in some of the likes. Keep an eye out for rock climbers.

19. The Labyrinth Hiking Trail
Joe Crobak: also known as the "Lemon Squeeze" this hike is short, but a great workout and features some neat views of the lake. It takes you all the way up to Skytop from near the mountain house.

Joe Crobak: Homemade bread, delicious food, intriguing cocktails. We shared one dish from each of the three courses -- they were all delicious. Just wish I had room for dessert!
21. Kilkenny House Restaurant & Pub
Joe Crobak: The Kilkenny cream ale is pretty good (similar to a boddingtons). The Cajun chicken sandwich is also very tasty with a good spicy kick.

Joe Crobak: Pick your own apples or pumpkins.
23. Buttery Bake Shoppe
Joe Crobak: Great breads, donuts, rolls, and pastries. Ask them to slice your bread if you're buying a loaf.

Joe Crobak: The tour of the castle and museum is well worth the extra €3!

Joe Crobak: burger is very tasty and comes with great fries.
27. Wallkill Valley Rail Trail
Joe Crobak: From Rosendale to Gardner, this is a fun and relaxing trail alongside the Wallkill River. There's a neat bridge north of New Paltz.
28. Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park
Joe Crobak: An old bridge that was converted to a walkway/bikeway. Spectacular views of the Hudson river and surrounding areas.
