- Eric CJune 18, 2016Nice location in Downtown Chicago. Just a few blocks from the Art Institute of Chicago and Grant Park as well.
- akMontufarOctober 21, 2010Walked prior to opening, looks to be a great property for corporate travelers w/ a need for ample banquet space. Restaurant components will rock, a quality lodging addition to the financial district.Upvoted Aug 17
- Lia MoreggiJune 15, 2015The best hotel by far. So refreshing to stay in a place that has friendly staff and clean rooms!
- What a perfect hotel. Great balance of luxury and comfort in one place. Expensive but worth it if staying downtown.
- Book a meeting here and sit back as the JW staff make you look good! Great hotel, great staff. Doesn't get better than JW!
- Condé Nast TravelerApril 12, 2011Southeast corner suites overlook the landmark Rookery building (contact therookerybuilding.com well in advance to get permission to visit the Frank Lloyd Wright interior).
- Michael KennedyAugust 23, 2015Great perks for Marriott Platinum members, like the concierge lounge on the 12th floor. Also, the lobby smells great.
- Do not valet your car here, unless you'd like to spend $60 on parking for 4 hours. Park at the Sears Tower garage just west of the hotel, a little cheaper.
- Bina ESeptember 16, 2013Wonderful hotel, right in the middle of the financial district. The Willis Tower is around the corner.
- Kim CoxMay 22, 2011Beautiful hotel, sapacious rooms, i want to live here. Staff was very very friendly. One critique - mini bar rates are some of the highest ive seen ($9 for m&ms!?!).
- Christopher RollysonNovember 18, 2010JW's arrival gives a nice vibe to Adams with the W Hotel across the street, although can bottleneck traffic if there are many cabs
- Justin BakerJuly 23, 2012You can watch TV while you shave because there is a flat screen in the mirror!
- Cristina GhettiJune 5, 2012The chocolate Martini at the lobby bar is the perfect closure for a long day!
- Janine DurborowMay 31, 2012Great room-love this hotel so far- spacious rooms especially the spa like bathroom
- This might be weird, but the lobby here smells like heaven.
- Todd CarpenterApril 10, 2011Make sure you visit the spa. Lay on one of the soapstone slabs and let your stress melt away.
- Arjun KMarch 15, 2016Surprised and disappointed to find out that there is no Free Internet in the rooms. Even for Marriott Elite members.
- Rhonda ScharfOctober 4, 2012If you are willing to pay $500 to stay here you should be willing to pay the crazy prices here. Nothing is inexpensive here at all. But that's not why your here so enjoy it!
- Riley CarterMay 27, 2012Heed my warning...don't take things out of the minibar if you don't plan on drinking them
- Willie WintersApril 21, 2011They have no freight elevator, so out makes life for entertainment unbearable at times
