Go for Out of Control Roll and Crispy Duck, really good!
Really tasty! Go for sour cream blintzes. Cash only.
Serving water with LOTS of ice when it's 20F outside, are you kidding?
The food is good, as in any Le Pain Quotidien. However, this prime location is notorious for sloooow couldn't-care-less service, even when not crowded.
It's not only about sushi and bento boxes, there are other interesting options, including lunch specials, a lot of which are under $10, with soup and salad and rice extras.
I love their tartines (turkey and avocado is the best!) and their coffee cups, but why so slow at lunch time? And it would be nice if they could turn air con down a bit - it's so cold inside :)
BBQ pizza is the best I ever ate, combo is also very good. Definitely a great place, notwithstanding paper plates and tiny tables.
Huge portions for very reasonable prices. Don't be scared by lard, go for it! All the rest is also very tasty, yet heavy, so beware. Beer goes perfectly with most of the food there.
A nice burger joint, looks like old-style revival with a healthier and more interesting twist in terms of burger selection.
Great burgers, but shakes and ice-cream were a bit too much for me.
Old-style diner with nice 50-s setting, decent burgers and really good milkshakes. Also, bacon and cheese fries are awesome!
Nice selection of cheese and veggies, decent buffet for breakfast or lunch, including coffee and pastries.
Red pandas! So adorable. And sea lions, of course. The place is nicer than you might think.
200-500% prices (compared with regular NYC stores). The place is a ripoff! What's happened with US duty-free shops offering more or less ok prices?!
No reservations by phone. The waiting time is 10-30 minutes, but you can easily spend it browsing the menu and the cheesecake selection counter.
Stuffed mushrooms and ahi tuna (carpaccio or Tartar) are great appetizers. Try Alfredo pasta with bacon and hibachi steak medium rare (you can always take what's left on your plate to finish at home).
45-minute free cruises with lots of seafood options on board, including raw bar. Cruises leave at 12, 3, 6 and 9 pm.
