Carolina Pulled Pork and St Louis Ribs. Ah-mazing! Creamed corn is bomb too! When I dined here, my brother-in-law ordered their Chicken & Waffles and he said it was so much better than Roscoe's.
Garlic Noodles. Garlic Noodles. Garlic Noodles.
Ranked as one of the top burgers in LA. Get it! And try the Virgil Root Beer on draft. Scoops ice cream too!
Get crazy with the beer. From Goose Island to The Bruery. They have them all.
I recommend their creamed corn and the cheesy grits for the sides. Pork ribs are delicious. Pulled chicken is just okay. Pulled pork however is bomb.
What to get in terms of food: the FO's burger of course and their Liberty Duck Confit Salad
Holy cow this place is awesome. Bread Pudding is to die for.
Oatmeal brûlée is my favorite breakfast here. Great food and great array of deserts!
Croissants are good. The top chocolate layer of their Opera cake was too thick for me. The macarons are okay but I was not crazy about the texture.
Boy, was this restaurant a knockout or what. Had the Carte Blanche menu and was blown away. Worth every single damn cent I spent.
Good selection of Italian deli meat, cheese, fresh pasta, meat (veal) and desserts
Get the "Not So Big" Filet for lunch. Same cut they serve dinnertime but the price is slashed in half during lunch.
Saison de Lente. Ahhh. And there's always a food truck every Friday night. Kogi, Frysmith, Louks, and plenty others have parked at Bruery to provide food to all the beer drinkers.
The best pastrami place in the neighborhood! Better than The Hat, I swear. Sandwiches are NYC style pastrami sandwich. And the chili and potato salad are the bomb!
For some reason, I really dig their mango jelly on my frozen yogurt.
Best place to get all my packaging needs - for my cookies and other baked treats
La Vie En Rose is very close to my heart. Love all the people here! Get the Pate for sure. Grand Marnier souffle is the best choice to end the night.
