Paige COctober 17, 2014Seemed like a very friendly, authentic eatery in the heart of Williamsburg. The Italian language was buzzing in the air. Pizza = great. The guys behind the counter could use some training though.

The best AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant by far in Brooklyn. My fav menu items are the pizano tower (eggplant + mozzerella and tomato), burata, and the sweet potato gnocci. God damn its amazing

La Nonna is a friendly neighborhood Italian: sit outside, eat average, but inexpensive, pizza/pasta and watch the hipsters roll by. It's BYOB so hit UVA down the street for a bottle of red first.

The paesana is my favorite pizza on earth: mozzarella, tomato sauce, smoked provolone, and pancheta. HEAVEN.
I love this place!! Best Italian in the area by far. Try to get Andrea as your waitress.
Good pizza and pasta, but service is inattentive to say the least. Get take out or delivery if you can.
