The latest on all the fun happenings at LEGOLAND California – a family theme park with 60 interactive rides, shows and attractions.
On March 31, Legoland will unveil STAR WARS miniland that will take guests to a galaxy far, far away!
Try starting at the back of the park and work your way to the entrance - the lines are usually shorter!
Try Granny's Apple Fries! They're decadent!
Pack a lunch. They don't check bags. Food prices and lines to eat are atrocious.
Download the new LEGOLAND app to explore map, rides and car locator. Plus it's your very own Show guide while at the Park! And it's free!!!
Don't like the minifigure you got? Look for one you like on namebadge of any staff member. They'll trade!
Nice alternative to packed Disneyland if you have kids under 10 y.o. Only 45-60 mins drive from Anaheim.
Great low-key park for families with kids 9 and younger. Sea World = too expensive. San Diego Zoo is great but requires a lot of schlepping.
Try Granny's Apple Fries in the Knight and medieval area
Arrive at 9:30am and hit all the rides before the crowds. We hit SEALIFE and 6 rides before 11:30am!!!
If kids are older go to the right when you get in
VIP Parking for Volvos. $12 for autos.
If you buy at the gate it's $89 for only one day, but buy in advance online and it's $89 for a 5-day pass!!!
Mouthwatering burgers at Castle Burgers. $4.95 for burger only and $9.25 for the combo.
best time to visit: during any charger game (home or away)
The 2nd day extension is only $15-$20 per person and well worth it especially with a toddler that can't last an entire day at the park.
There's not many rides for little kids. I have a 6 & 3 yr old. My 3 yr old met the height requirements, but they also have to be 4. Kinda lame.
Get the Merlin resort pass! Especially worth it when summer comes!
Front gate to the park. Hope you got your tickets, 5 days for 1 day price, online!
first time and this place sucks! i dont know what it is about this place but children are let loose, just witnessed a Guy throwing up and parents acting like kids. next time its disneyland all the way
Mocha latte at entrance is very good
Kids love the lego, pass on the water park and aquarium
Sea Life Aquarium is open on Tuesday and Wednesdays when the park is closed during fall an winter. Free parking!
Free water park inside Legoland. Your kids could spend all day here!
If you forget diapers/wipes, you can buy some at the Brick Builders in Fun Town. They also have cute Quicksilver clothes for kids!
Unless you have a child that is 7 or under this place is a waste of money!
Buy a bag of goldfish before you come and release em on the storybook village ride. They love it.
Don't wait to hydrate! Drink plenty of fluids!
Worst waste of money ever!
If your kid is less than 34 inches tall, they won't be able to ride a lot of the stuff here...but will have a good time nonetheless with all the other distractions in the park.
You can't ride the upside down ride with jewelry... I didn't want to take my nose ring out so they won't let me ride
Legoland is awesome for children under 10yrs, I recommend visiting the park on a weekday, less people, and you enjoy the park.
Really fun, get the VIP pass to avoid any waits in line. Great for kids under 10, rides are a little light for older kids
Cute ride for 10 and under. RealllLly slow.
Prepare for a long waiting line, this one's popular.
Not so packed like DisneyLand, but not so good as well.. Kids can get personal "Driver License" for extra $5.
Major drawback noted: children are not supervised by their parents very well. Have witnessed kids climbing unsafe areas with no one correcting them. Hard to tolerate as a protective parent.
Great amusement park for young kids! The Little Tangs love the pirate shores ride
Crazy lines- a melting pot of people- feel like a customs line at JFK
Pay $120 for front of line priv. Worth it when all ride lines are 45-75min
Sky Cruiser is NOT worth the typical 60+ minute wait.
Come on 4th of july after 7pm for fireworks and pay only $2.00 for parking
Not quite the Funnest Place on Earth
Love this place! You can often find myself and Lil L roaming the park and riding roller coasters
They close early on Fridays
Brick or treat is super fun on the weekends in October!
This is a fantastic theme park if you have little kids. Lots of active play, not just a bunch of rides. Highly recommended.
At least they serve alcohol to the parents.
