Urban DeliDeli / Bodega • Stockholm, Sweden
This is definitely the Bi-Rite market of Stockholm :)
Experts in coffee gear, super laid back and neighborhoody atmosphere. Just as good as all of the super hipster "third wave" places without the attitude. There is also a coffee museum!
Totally schools Germany on any craft brew scene. Crazy selection and even a few IPAs!
Good quick meal. Excellent soups. Perfect for cozy cold nights.
Excellent selection of out of print art books and other rare things. Whole Earth catalogs show up from time to time. Take all my money!
Almost certainly named after Magnolia Thunderpussy, a previous establishment named after the owner. She was a SF icon who was a burlesque dancer whose restaurant served "erotic desserts".
Nice chill spot that is like. European cafe - food, beer/wine, and coffee. Chill with a book for a while.
Please stop talking about your startups and ROI
All of the jewelry is great and inexpensive. The staff is really nice too.
Super chill, unintimidating dance studio with all drop in classes. Go find your inner hip hop dancer!
A SF institution, the first of the 826 stores and required visit while in SF. The proceeds all go to the writing workshop. Be sure to get some of the kids writings and be careful not to get mopped!
The sister store of Dog Ear on Valencia. Well curated, nice staff, easy to spend hours in here.
An excellent selection of SF and CA books, Pantone kids books, and rare used stuff. Curation is an art and they've perfected it.
I think this is the best carnitas I have ever eaten in SF
Family run Italian market with a nice deli in the back for sandwiches, lasagne, and lots of other stuff. They have tables inside so you can sit and have a nice lunch. :)
Excellent place to sit down to read a book, write in a notebook, or sit outside with a pitcher of sangria on a really nice day. People are also usually smoking weed outside.
