Once was the old Red River Opera a decade or so ago. Now's a great roadhouse to see smaller touring rock/metal/alt/etc. bands. Has big bar with fast servers and smoking patio. The acoustics are great!
    David Greenwood · March 29, 2012
  • Ally W.
This venue was a hassle! If you go make sure you get there early to deal with a small parking lot and cash for parking! Just as any concert, it was pretty packed but very convenient by ASU campus.
    Ally Walker · November 18, 2013
  • John S.
Great spot to catch a concert because of the size. Not a bad seat in the house and the smaller atmosphere makes for some great shows. Sound is decent but don't miss your favorite act when they play.
    John Spataro · February 16, 2013
  • Tremell G.
Great venue and the space is magnificent inside. A lot of big names came to this place and for it to be very close to campus, it's convenient for many people to get there. Very diverse with events!
    Tremell Gray · March 26, 2012
  • Maile C.
The Venue, which is located south of the Mill Ave. District, invites smaller known bands and artists to perform, in a 1,000+ stand up only theatre. Fun place, and tickets are relatively cheap.
    Maile Canlas · August 5, 2013
  • Zach B.
Venue of choice for many emerging artists and tours. Be sure to leave your key rings in the car or at home as they won't let you in with them. Too often people double them as "brass knuckles."
    Zach Booher · April 14, 2011

Get there early because then you can get up to the front. One time I got there early to see Pepper and the opening act was a punk band. The lead singer of the punk jumped from the stage to my arms!
    Edmund Hubbard · February 16, 2013
  • Chris S.
Seen countless shows here over the past 12 years. The venue consistently gets great bands but also attracts rude and obnoxious crowds. Be prepared to stare at somebody's phone for half the night.
    Chris S · January 1, 2015
  • Christopher D.
Get there early to park in the main lot, but not too early that you have to hang out way before the show cause there is NOTHING to do there before the show but drink expensive drinks.
    Christopher Deutsch · April 16, 2013
  • Melissa P.
I don't care what people have to say about this venue. I have had some memorable moments here with great bands including Matt & Kim The Neighbourhood, Passion Pit, and Band Of Horses.
    Melissa Perez · November 15, 2012
  • kristofer k.
Great place for a show you can always walk up on the far right side up to the stage anytime. Bring cash, ordered 2 drinks and had to have friend buy because they don't take card.
    kristofer kalkbrenner · November 15, 2013
  • Logan P.
Most people who complain about this venue must not go to shows often. Security is tight because they have to be to keep this venue open. 5$ parking. Ride the light rail if you don't want to pay.
    Logan Powell · March 8, 2012
  • Drew P.
Probably my favorite venue to see live performances at in Phoenix. It's small enough where you don't feel like you're an entire football field away from the stage.
    Drew Pociask · February 16, 2013

Box office is open during the day on weekdays. ATM inside in the main lobby. No re-entry. Get a "candy andy" mixed drink at the bar next to the stage.
    Ryan · January 6, 2011

Closest Music Venue to ASU Tempe campus. Great musicians but parking lot is 5$. Tickets usually sell out pretty fast. Buy tickets before a show online.
    Melissa B · February 15, 2013
  • Mallory G.
Small venue, standing room only, be prepared to either get drinks spilled on your or smacked in the face by a random shoe. Can't complain about ticket prices though!
    Mallory G · November 13, 2013
  • Johnny V.
Allow extra time to get in and pick up tix if you didn't in advance, take light rail whenever possible (Washington/center stop right next to venue).
    Johnny Volume · August 5, 2014
  • Natalie
Always a good concert venue. There is a parking garage across the street, I recommend parking there.
    Natalie · November 2, 2015
  • Jarred S.
Great venue! Some pretty big names will come and play here. So close to ASU and Mill Ave. Did you know it used to be an actual theatre.
    Jarred Smith · April 14, 2011

Awesome Venue!! Always has someone playing and is close to Mill Ave and ASU campus. Don't bring glow sticks if you go, they will take them.
    Tori Pacos · March 29, 2012

Used to love this place, but they're all rude there now. Will call is impossible & they charge for parking. I try to avoid the Marquee as much as possible
    Lauren . · April 9, 2014
  • Katie-Lee
TSA-level security. They WILL take your pens and other unnecessary items. You can get close to the band, but the sound system is out of control and tends to blur.
    Katie-Lee · November 18, 2013
  • Christie M.
I hated this place. The security people are rude and condescending and act like they're guarding a maximum security prison. Don't bring any food or drink, they will take it from you.
    Christie Maillet · October 11, 2012
  • Chad
Still the strongest drinks of any place in town. Much improved draft beer selection. Oh yeah, concerts too.
    Chad · April 22, 2014
  • Brent H.
Security is ridiculous. I had to take off my goddamn shows like it was a TSA inspection, and I can't bring in a pack of gum, but this kid next to me has a 14-pound chain on his wallet. Fuck off.
    Brent Hankins · November 15, 2011

Best place in Tempe to see a concert! Purchase tickets ahead of time, often sells out quick

Be sure to bring Cash as the ATM can be touchy there and you aren't allowed to leave once you enter.
    John Spellman · November 18, 2009
  • Mike C.
Ridiculous security here, they make you take your shoes off out on a dirty sidewalk. What the fuck are they looking for??? I said fuck that shit, I'm not taking them off and they just let me pass.
    Mike Clark · March 21, 2013

I don't like the fact that they take a color picture of my whole I.D. before I can drink. How do I know my information is secure?
