Cocktails, coffee. Some of the best Oslo has to offer.
1. Bar Robinet
Marius Watz: Fuck mixology, you just need cocktails. And Robinet does the best cocktails in town. And no nonsense.
Marius Watz: Good drinking spot on weekdays, ridiculous on weekends. Acceptable beer and cocktail selection. Looking for the over-hyped "Grunerløkka" experience? This is it.
3. Bar Boca
Marius Watz: Excellent but tiny cocktail bar. Weekdays good, w'kends a bit over the top. Good choice for melancholy cocktail lovers.
4. Summit 21
Marius Watz: A bit on the silly side, but worth it for the view (esp. from the Men's lavatory, believe it or not.) Decent cocktails for indecent prices.Visit once or go to impress a date.
Marius Watz: Nice space with excellent cocktails. Try the whisky sour. As they say: Vær grei, eller vær hjemme.
6. Hells Kitchen
Marius Watz: No frills but not a dive bar with inexpensive pizza, good for meeting up with people on weeknights if you don't want too much background noise.
7. Oslo Mekaniske Verksted
Marius Watz: Cozy, maybe on the overly cozy side. Grønland tree-huggers galore. Still, a great place to hang out.
Marius Watz: Nice cocktail joint slash club slash calorie provider.
Marius Watz: As cute as coffee shops slash cocktail bars come, Fuglen stops just short of being nauseatingly authentic. Cozy and tasty, with a Berlin slash cosmopolitan hipster feel.
