Mark B: Fantastic park. Very large and to get the best out of it plan for more than one day. Lots of areas to stop and get out to enjoy the vistas and trails.
Mark B: Small shop but they have a nice inventory, especially some older books in the early 20th and 19th century. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Austin.

Mark B: Great place for antiques and other merchandise for the home. Different vendors under one roof with varying selection of items. The staff is very helpful. Two levels so don’t forget downstairs.
Mark B: Good restaurant in Bandera and perfect location on main drag. Diverse menu with enough options for everyone. Nice bar and drink menu. Favorite stop for most people out for weekend drive.

Mark B: Always a great place for a fantastic meal. Steak and Seafood are their specialty @ the service is top notch. Always a crowd so definitely reserve a table before hand.
Mark B: Nice hotel next to the Convention Center. Have to walk several blocks to a couple of Casinos on the same side of the river. Rooms were good and the staff nice.

Mark B: Great Mexican food. Reminds me of California taco shops which they in fact were started by the same Los Roberto’s family of restaurants. Authentic Southern California Mexican food.

Mark B: Best steakhouse anywhere. White glove service with fabulous food. Fantastic bar on 1st floor well stocked with a lot of top shelf liquor. Must visit restaurant in San Antonio.
Mark B: Good Italian restaurant. They don’t have an extensive menu but the service and atmosphere is great. Must have reservations so call ahead. They are attached to the Hilton and a block away from Broadway
Mark B: Fantastic rooms and a great location in downtown near the music and bars. It is also attached to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Check on services before you book as room service wasn’t available.
Mark B: Looking for a good basic breakfast this is the place. 4-6 floors of dining with excellent service. Good views from the upper floors. I believe they are open late as well for crowds leaving Broadway.

Mark B: Only open a couple days a week. Enter from a tunnel entrance facing MLK Blvd. We went on a Monday and were literally the only visitors in the entire bldg. It helps that they weren’t in session also.
