Some lovely trails to run here.
Seems like a lower end supermarket, but pretty good bread, ham, cheese and other fresh foods, as far as we can tell.
This is not a fancy place, but the food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Pizza, calzone and sandwiches were all great. Pizza was around €6 to €8 each. Best we've had around Italy so far.
This is actually called the Rocketeer.
Superb quality flowers, beautifully arranged. A great way to make someone smile!
Woks for BA Executive Club silver and gold card holders top.
Excellent burgers here. Try the signature Red Squirrel burger.
Supber area for kids with swings, slides, roundabouts etc. There's also a fenced in football pitch, basketball and tennis areas, plus a well-kept grassy area further down with flowers and bushes.
Really nice little market, with different stalls compared to the market up on Castle Terrace. Good food options for cooking at home, although not so much for eating immediately.
Excellent sausages from the Porcinet man, in his butcher's van. Go and see him. Pate
Excellent thin base pizza. Friendly staff, and jazz on the stereo.
Definitely the best boulangerie in town. Try the beignets - light and delicious.
Lovely gentle walk around the lake, or else some nice running up and down the hill. Fantastic views from the top.
For those who don't live here, you can buy beer here until 2am! Reasonable selection, including Sierra Nevada.
Nice friendly barber here. Good chat, relaxing.
Good place to take kids, but worth leaving the buggy and taking a sling or a carrier, as suggested in the notes when you start the trail. They didn't mention to us before we started... Good food.
