The DistrictCoffee Shop • Yangon, Myanmar
Reasonable coffee and nice cakes.
Great selection of otherwise hard to find items. Fairly expensive. Slow checkouts.
Still the best cappuccinos in town. Which says a lot about the quality of coffee in town.
So I was here again two weeks later, and they remembered my face and returned my stylus that I had left here the first time. Now THAT is customer service!
Friendly and helpful service. They even did a simple repair to my tablet for free!
Reasonable crêpes, reasonable coffee, good prices, friendly staff.
Good if you have a long lay-over, too expensive (50 sing dollar) for a short stay.
The most efficient airport in Myanmar, even better than Yangon.
Make sure that you get a map the first time around: it's a maze.
Overrated. Reasonable coffees, reasonable food, good cakes, nice service, overpriced. Try the macadamia brownie.
Nice people, renovated rooms are quite nice, good location. But : internet often slow, average breakfast, no hot water at the end of the morning.
They're renovating, so lots of noise during the day: don't expect to catch a nice afternoon nap.
At 40 dollars, probably best value for money in Sittwe. Avoid their breakfast.
Nice, upbeat ambiance with loss of families having their Sunday breakfast; still, you will probably feel more relaxed wearing something nice, not cargo shorts and a T-shirt like I did.
Reasonable cappuccino: their blend is very fruity which works surprisingly well with the Asian food on offer. Food decidedly less good: my noodles were lukewarm and the sauce came from the microwave.
