Good if you have a long lay-over, too expensive (50 sing dollar) for a short stay.
The most efficient airport in Myanmar, even better than Yangon.
Internet has become so slow as to be unusable; needs an upgrade.
Make sure that you get a map the first time around: it's a maze.
Overrated. Reasonable coffees, reasonable food, good cakes, nice service, overpriced. Try the macadamia brownie.
Nice people, renovated rooms are quite nice, good location. But : internet often slow, average breakfast, no hot water at the end of the morning.
They're renovating, so lots of noise during the day: don't expect to catch a nice afternoon nap.
At 40 dollars, probably best value for money in Sittwe. Avoid their breakfast.
Nice, upbeat ambiance with loss of families having their Sunday breakfast; still, you will probably feel more relaxed wearing something nice, not cargo shorts and a T-shirt like I did.
Reasonable cappuccino: their blend is very fruity which works surprisingly well with the Asian food on offer. Food decidedly less good: my noodles were lukewarm and the sauce came from the microwave.
Reasonable coffee, okay food. Don't bother with the 2000-kyat WiFi: it's ridiculously slow.
If you fly domestically, take some time to admire the woodwork: some really beautiful carvings!
Pretty good food and nice people. High prices, though.
Very modern supermarket spanning two floors. Good deli with lots of local goodies. Not cheap, but not hugely expensive either.
Reasonable coffee, although you might want to ask for an extra shot. Prices are on the high side. Good for people-watching.
Good coffee and nice pastries, but ridiculously expensive. I mean, 3500 kyat for a small coffee? Come on...
