Try the SKULL
I'm over here.
The new menu is phenomenal! Try the octopus and the Korean fried quail. The portions are tapas sized.
They only serve BBQ for lunch - had the chopped beef sandwich with the creamed corn. The brisket wasn't too salty, and the sauce was perfect. Definitely try the corn.
Maybe it's just too early to tell, but our experience wasn't great. The cheese plate, mahi mahi and service were all severely lacking.
I love this place. The tacos are cheap and delightful, and I never leave disappointed. Try the spicy pork or the beef quesadilla.
Super surprised by the bacon donut. Not too rich, with a fluffy dough and a perfect crunch. If you're on the fence, give it a try. You won't regret it. Also, they have Toddy cold brew coffee.
The double brined chicken is perfection.
It's not the best sushi in the city, but it sure is fun (and affordable). The perfect way to eat sushi.
I had the Lobster Roll, which was actually pretty good. Fairly untraditional, but it tasted great. Old Fashioned was fantastic as well.
The crispy dumplings were very good. The Shaken Beef was excellent as well.
Tried the Tuna Steak Sandwich. Pretty average, though the fries were good.
The Tikka Chicken (#3) was very good. I also really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits (#14). The tots were nothing special...
The fried chicken is the thing to get, no question about it. Ask for is spicy (off menu)!
A bit too artsy for their own good. The hot chicken and waffle appetizer was worth a visit though. Very tasty.
For a Vietnamese joint, the beer list impresses. The food was very good, with a comfortable balance between tavern and Asian. I really enjoyed the fried egg rolls and the Bahn Mi Burger.
For a cocktail, Fist Full of Dollars was excellent. I'd recommend the pork belly along with whatever recommendations your server has. They know what they're doing.
I had the sampler platter (ribs, sliced brisket and pulled pork). The ribs were the best I've had in a while, and the brisket was on par with some of the greatest in the city. Try the dirty rice.
