Nice ambience. Good coffee. :)
Yummy and affordable banana french toast. Good for sharing too (if you're not that hungry). :)
Chanced upon this small ramen joint in Shimokitazawa on our first visit to Tokyo. We ordered the spicy ramen and gyoza (through a ticket machine) and both were very delicious! Large servings too.
Try the Portobello Tagliatalle with Truffle Cream Sauce Pasta.
Large servings (e.g., a single order of goulash is good for two). The palacinke (traditional Serbian crepe with nutella) is worth a try.
Try Movie Night and Speculoos! Also, if you don't mind sharing a cup (and just 1 piece of waffle) with the person you're with, you'll save around 60 bucks if you get one Double instead of two Singles.
Must-try: Tokusen Toroniku (Roasted Pork Cheek) Ramen.
Their Lengua Laruja (braised ox tongue with mushroom gravy) is really good. One of the best lengua dishes we've had.
The burgers are reasonably-priced and the grilled beef patties in them are delicious.
The Afternoon Tea Set comes with a pot of your chosen tea (Fudge Caramel Tea is good) and a myriad of other things: tea sandwiches, scones, pastries, macarons, etc. Serving is more than enough for 2.
For 2 pax who'll both be ordering chops: It's cheaper to buy 4 pcs. Chicken Chop + 2 rice + 2 Iced Tea, than to buy 2 orders of Chops Ricebox (Combo C).
Try the Insalata con Ricotta Fritti (fried ricotta over mixed greens with balsamic dressing) and the Spaghetti ai Tesori del Mare (olive oil-based pasta with a mildly spicy mix of seafood). Delicious!
For dessert, try their Frozen Cappuccino Mud Pie. It tastes great & at P90+, it's a more affordable alternative to the Cappuccino Pie at Italianni's (which costs P300+).
