start with the alma blanca. maybe some of that corn too. then pick anything else from the menu -- you can't go wrong. (chef ortiz used to work at la esquina back in new york city!)
camarones a la diabla: shrimp, bacon, rice, salad and just a little spicy sauce. exactly what you need the morning, ahem, afternoon after a 6am night out
the little seats near the elevators next to the bar is a nice place to sneak away from the crowds. "elevator alley", i call it.
has got a great history – be sure to ask them about it.start with the Velpar (an even drink of all equal parts). bite on some croissant with fondue. split the quail and lamb+venison burger.
a fantastic place to throw a party. i particularly like the upstairs area above the stage.
Hang out pool side if you have friends staying there. Have a couple margaritas in the sun. Just go with the teen pop soundtrack.
