Hop from theater to theater in my favorite city. Love to find places to watch people and work. In search of the city's best Turkish coffee.
As you step in, the antique smell will overwhelm you in a beautifully warming way. Free estimates and diagnosis, and the kindest staff. There is no browsing per se, so if you are shopping, just ask!
The most runny frappuccino I've ever had. Try to get them to blend it thicker.
For your dinner, they will start you with a lovely traditional salad with cabbage and pickles so keep that in mind as you order.
Darn good Turkish coffee. Simple with a clove/citrus/sweet aftertaste.
Get there in the morning for their savory scones before they all disappear. They only make one batch a day.
These guys let me open the paper packs so I could feel the weight and the tooth. Definitely some nice managers working here.
They have camp stationary. Didn't know that was a thing but good to know!
Been coming since they opened and it's the nicest cut and best value I've received in the city. Ask for Max. He is such a perfectionist and always goes the extra step. Love the neck shave and styling.
Pretty empty on a Saturday night... Except for all the Hasidim doing some serious shopping after Shabbat.
The tree covered walkway between 22nd and 23rd streets is probably the prettiest part of the high line.
Try the hot sauces! The Ghost of Greenport is a flavorful Tabasco. I also recommend the Camel Toe.
A beautiful New York treasure. Don't forget to look up every once in a while.
Although known for their donuts they do mean egg and cheese sandwiches and a stuffed tomato, lox and cream cheese on a bagel
Warning that the rooftop doesn't open till 2pm on the weekends.
