Serving the Greater New Orleans Region and the Gulf South!
Now that you've checked in stop by the Airport Passenger Relations Counter in the Concourse C Lobby for your free luggage tag. It's open 5AM to 9PM every day. Have a safe flight! #iFLYMSY
Wifi is definitely better than any New York airport. Love the laid back atmosphere, and the lack of screaming children and annoying travelers.
Wi-fi is definitely better than any new york airport! Love the laid back atmosphere, it's helping me recover from my hangover.
Get the iced tea
Slow bag check for southwest - arrive early!
With few restaurants/bars, seating and charging stations, this might be the worst airport. The security gates directly leading to a single concourse make it even less fun and more like quarantine.
Airport is easy to get around. Good selection of food in most gates. Not a bad drive if you live in the Baton Rouge area.
bottom 3 airports all time
Not the greatest airport but it does get you to New Orleans.
Free wifi and your first (or last) chance for beignets!
No clue why all the restaurants close at 8pm?!? Zatarains is the only place open.
Good food and free wifi! But get out and enjoy New Orleans. Great city!
Free wifi and pralines everywhere
Good food is hard to find here. A place like New Orleans should do better.
I like it here because it takes me home.
Hoping for a better experience home than from last MSY visit 😃
Always a good experience at this airport. Security is normally pretty quick too
Don't check a bag it takes forever
Not many food options and you have to go through TSA to get to another terminal.
Slow wifi and poor options for food. Not a fun place for a 9-hour layover
Watch people in sweatpants eat po' boys
Easy to navigate but not great food options in the D terminal
Easy in and out.
There is $2 bus E2 from New Orleans
Take a transfer to Your hotel for 35 dolars
Now that you've arrived, start by having a drink as soon as you get off the plane. It's party time! :-)
Got through TSA to Gate D (United) in 15 min on an early Sunday afternoon.
I want to work here one day.
Can't believe there's no WiFi at this airport. #fail
Nice small airport but lacking quality coffee and functioning wifi at least in Concourse D.
Flew out in a Saturday morning, check in and security were quicker than expected.
What other airport in the world can you see advertisements for liver transplants?
Efficient. NOLA style friendly. I wish I could fly in AND out of here!
Wifi was a pain in the neck
It would be awesome if they did something about the trek from the rental car place to the airport. Eat at the Zatarain's kitchen!
Read the tips that aren't really tips. Like the one pictured from Janne Brown.
Nice Airport, but kind of small though!!
Never take Uber black car to the city, will cost you at least $80. Taxi all the way!
Not the greatest airport in the world, but with so much to do and see in NOLA who cares, so long as there's water to hydrate from Bourbon street. The Jazz band greeting was a cool perk =)
Nothing to speak of inside security. One restaurant. Couple of news stores. No real coffee shop. 👎
33 gets you to New Orleans in a taxi
Kind of inefficient for an airport.
Love the traditional live musical bands greeting me as I arrived
Cafe du monde in the delta terminal 👌
This airport named after the famous 1st US astronaut walked on the moon "a step for all mankind", Louis Armstrong.
Airport needs some updating. TSA was slow when I went through but mainly due to knowledgeable travelers.
Everything moving smoothly on Christmas morning
Not crowded. Very few in line this Christmas Eve.
So good to be back home in the Big Easy!
