The salads are salty and wilted. Worth avoiding.
Crystal Car all the way. No lines for crystal, long for standard. Worth the extra $5 USD to save the hour.
Breakfast buffet is worth it - great mix of local specialties (congee, dim sum, noodles), Continental pastries, a full cereal and fruit bar, and multiple types of bacon.
The rocky road ice cream is incredible. Fresh marshmallows.
No automated machine at this location. One teller. Better to just walk to Chinatown.
TSA here are possibly the most incompetent of any airport in the US. 2hrs prior for domestic, 4 for international. Lines are terrible and move at a snails' pace.
Fantastic shop with nice jewelry.. Owner was really nice, helped tighten a stubborn tragus piece.
The "healthy" menu is a misnomer. They fry the tofu. Food was pretty meh.
Start at 5th & 59th and walk downtown. It's a nice walk with great window shopping - most design houses have their flagship stores around here. If it's autumn, grab chestnuts from a street vendor.
The prettiest place in the park. Leads to Bethesda Fountain.
Take the F train here, then walk around the waterfront park and check out the little shops and restaurants.
See the dinosaurs and the whale.
Walk. Take a detour to Billy's Bakery if you have some extra time.
A neighborhood for shopping. There are a lot of great street vendors selling clothes and crafts (mostly along West Broadway). Uniqlo and TopShop on Broadway are worth checking out.
The olive oil tastings are a great way to start your meal.
Kielbasa sandwich and/or knish. Also can't go wrong w/a giant pastrami on rye.
