Pittsburgh’s Premier Martini Bar BarSmart’s 2010 and 2011 Winner for Best Martini’s Conveniently located in the Cultural District, between Heinz Hall, the Byham Theater and the Renaissance Hotel. Olive or Twist is located just one block from the Benedum Center and a short walk from PNC Park.
Service was great; waitress was friendly. Really enjoyed our cocktails (fathers g&t). Grilled cheese was good with soup of the day (mushroom Brie).
Move to the second level to have a bit more space.
Calamari is fantastic!
Amazing nachos, and a "Vesper" cocktail make a great night!
Head upstairs - great atmosphere.
My wife loves it here. Cool spot to get quick drinks and good appetizers before the show. Love the brick interior.
Happy hour Monday through Friday 4-6.
Convenient downtown location with a nice modern open space upstairs to hang out with friends. Decent music selection with a mature weekend crowd. Not overly crowded. Good selection of beverages.
Lemon grass and nuts and berries martinis are awesome.
Fun spot downtown! The best martini list!
Live laugh love
Amazing service and great atmosphere. Try the Cake Batter martini! The food is very reasonably priced.
Every time I come here I feel increasingly off-put by most of the bartenders. Awesome martinis but go to Redbeards next door for a more welcoming vibe.
Good cocktails, but no rye whiskey? If you want anything traditional go somewhere else.
Make sure to go upstairs
The service is outstanding! Get the tomato basil soup and crab cakes. They're delicious 😍
Great variety of drinks. However... Service at the bad sucks!!!!! Do not let AMY wait on you!!!
Great Makers Mark Manhattan!
New favorite martini baked Alaska mmmmm
The short manager is a solid dude. He really took care of our party.
It used to be better, not sure what happened. The food menu is a mess. Stick to cocktails, move on for good eats !

Great place to try a variety of martinis. They have a great list of creative places. Their buffalo chicken dip is my favorite in Pittsburgh.
Key Lime Pie, Orange Dreamsicle, and Vesper Martinis are awesome.
Incredible seasonal martini menu.
Saw Hines Ward here! Took a picture with him too! Also, best ginger lemon drop martini ever!!!
Orange dreamcicle so good!
Limoncello lemon drop yum
14 new tasty martinis for spring! Also new items on the lunch and dinner menu!! Yum!
Stop by and try our new food menu, featuring a Smoked Duck Salad and Stuffed Pork Chop. Not too hungry, try our Olive or Twist signature Calamari! Delicious!

Try the calamari. Wow!!
Ask them to make you the Buffalo Chicken salad w french fries. Amazing
Bartenders upstairs are not very good.
Pumpkin spice martini, to die for!
The singer/piano player tonight makes me want to shoot myself
If you're here during Wicked, try the Wicked martini..tastes like a peppermint patty.
Key Lime Martini!
The cab sav on their list is a little jammy, but it's not offensive
Good Martinis! Try the upstairs area. Kind of tiny, but very good atmosphere.
An incredibly boring & unsatisfying meal. The chicken masala was just smothered in sauce with hardly any flavor. The garlic potatoes weren't. The iced tea I sent back; looked & tasted like the water.
The martinis are clearly the main attraction here but if you are more beer oriented try the Sam Adams Oatmeal.
Great martini list. Try the upstairs.
2nd floor is the best. Try the Snap Dragon Meritage.
Great martinis and good music tonight
