Young Democrats of Maryland

Young Democrats of Maryland (YDM) is a youth organization and recognized arm of the Maryland Democratic Party, dedicated to fostering growth, expansion, and leadership development within the ranks of the state party by fostering opportunities for young activists to get involved, and stay engaged in local, state and national politics while promoting the progressive agenda of the local, state, and national arms of Democratic Party. YDM is a recognized and flourishing member of the national youth Democratic organization Young Democrats of America and has a membership that spans high schools, colleges and universities, counties and cities across our great state of Maryland. In addition to regional and institutional chartered chapters, YDM has an expansive caucus system that stresses the necessarily tailored agendas of traditionally Democratic groups.
