An absolute classic. Be prepared to shell out a few $$, but well worth it. A top 5 must do in NYC for me, venue wise.
Great fresh sushi for super cheap. Worth the walk over to 1st Ave. Don't go at night on the weekend unless you want to party though... sake bombs galore.
Best non-traditional slice of Pizza in the city... any of the three venues is great, but the 14th St. one is best.
Solid burgers for relatively cheap... lots of variety, elk, bison, etc.
Best non-Sushi Japanese in the area, possibly the city.
This is where Abraham Lincoln used to drink when he was in NYC. Enough said.
Get some European cheeses/meats/bread at Eataly then sit in the park and picnic on a nice day... or save a few $ and hit up Shake Shack. Live Bait nearby has good southern food too.
Solid... good salad, bagels, pizza for decent price.
I mean, seriously, if you're here for more than two weeks during baseball season and you don't make it here, you're doing something wrong, even if you don't like baseball, it's just classic New York.
