All appointments at The Red Chair include a consultation, relaxing shampoo / scalp massage, style, styling aids, maintenance and product info. Our hair stylists are suited for many hair types and have a minimum of two years of professional experience (in addition to schooling & advanced training). Senior stylists have 5-10 years experience. Owner/stylist (Amy) is a former color educator w/14 years of experience.

Whether you need gray coverage, a color refresher, want to add shine, add some highlights or just want to get crazy with color, know that all Red Chair Salon stylists are highly skilled w/hair color formulation and application techniques. Every customized formula is recorded to assure consistency of color.

*What is a cellophane you ask? If you’re looking to color your hair and keep it shiny – a cellophane is a clear glossing agent that fills in weak, damaged areas of the hair shaft and seals the cuticle layer. It’s applied to damp hair evenly, left on the hair for 20-30 minutes, then rinsed out thoroughly. It’s a semi permanent hair “color” w/out the color pigment. Your hair will have amazing shine and silkiness for 4 to 6 weeks!

The Red Chair Salon offers an array of special occasion / formal options for you and your party. Have a large bridal party? You and your bffs want to get done up for a big night out? The red chair salon has several options and will take care of everything you need to look and feel your best (including liquor licenses, changing rooms, etc). Please let us know within 7 days of your appointment and we’ll make things right. If you feel your stylist wasn’t a good fit for any reason – we’d be happy to refer to someone who is. *Our “Karma friendly” Cancellation / No Show Policy – We realize you’re busy and try to accommodate that busy schedule with the best possible Hair Stylist to suit your needs. Life throws curve balls – we understand! All we ask is for a 24 hour notice when cancelling your appointments. No shows and last minute cancellations may be charged for missed or rescheduled appointments.
