Amazing Sole Meunière
Did I mention that my nose is on fire? And that I have 15 wild badgers living in my trousers?
Menu appears to seasonal, but the Pumpkin ravioli were amazing. In a brown butter sauce, with roasted walnuts and pomegranate seeds.
The bloody Mary comes rather spicy and and with a Bacon and brown sugar rim coating. I recommend it with gin. C'est Magnifique!
Always dig into the market menu - new gems every week. And the Panne Cotta on the dessert side is a flat out winner.
Great meal - highly recommend the Spinach Ravioli ... filled with Spinach, Pine Nuts, Raisins and served with a Butter, Sage + Saffron sauce. Also - cinnamon apple pie can't be beat.
The Risotto au Gamban ( tiger shrimp ) is superb. The chocolate Valrhona Coulant, however, is beyond description and heavenly.
"Scottish Modern" cuisine - the menu apparently changes on a weekly basis. I had an amazingly delectable Barbary Duck in RedCurrant sauce off the specials board. Highly recommend.
The delicious Honey Garlic chicken is the house twist on sweet and sour.
Be sure you have enough food before walking out with takeaway. You'll probably finish eating and want to go back for seconds...the Maiz Y Poblano in particular was perfect.
