Probably the most authentic diner I've ever been to and one of my favourite experiences ever. Order Shannon's McMuffin, you won't regret it. And those potatoes? Incredible. Come hungry, leave happy.

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Their Sunday lunch is the best in the city, no wonder they got a Bib Gourmand, the quality of the food is outstanding! Make sure you leave space for dessert.

Best dinner we had in Porto! Impeccable service, charming little restaurant and absolutely incredible food. All classic Portuguese staples, make sure you order their grilled octopus in olive oil.
Great old school bakery/cafe right outside the station. Get their incredible Bola de Berlim (a huge custard-filled doughnut) and their croissant. Cheap and authentic.
Best place in London for Tonkotsu ramen: rich and creamy pork bone broth with an intense meaty flavour. Their truffle ramen (picture here) was the true definition of comfort food!
One of the best Thai restaurants in London, a hidden gem. Authentic Thai food,generous portions, bargain prices, BYOB... definitely worth the trip to Leytonstone! Book in advance.
Fantastic fusion menu, classic Greek ingredients with Asian influences. Nolan's Bib Gourmand is truly well deserved!
This place has been open for more than 80 years for a reason. Their authentic Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts is one of the best things I had during our stay. A must when in Athens!
Their queuing system is absurd (queue for ages, sit on a bench, go the the bar and THEN you can eat) but their food is just excellent. Get the cheese naan, the okra fries and anything from the grill.
Amazing coffee and open until 7PM (at least on Saturdays) which is unusual for coffee shops in East London.

Fantastic food, both their ceviches and their meats are among the best in London. Ceviche and Andina are also great, but come here for a special occasion.
Food was truly excellent, their potato puree with king crab easily one of the best dishes we've had this year. Service could have been better as they took 45 minutes between our 3rd and 4th dish.
Incredible building, even if you're not into architecture you need to see this both from the outside and inside.
Get a refreshing La Chouffe (best beer ever), some of their great Bitter Ballen and just relax!
Absolutely outstanding. By far the best meal we've had all year (keep in mind we live in London and dine out all the time). The quality of the ingredients was superb and the space simply beautiful.
