Great choice of stalls... And so many. There is also a wide range of food... From Dagwood Dogs to Deep fried mushrooms, there's something for everyone. There is also lots of souvenirs and organics.

Take the free city shuttle here instead of diving because parking can be quite a problem. Credit card accepted in most shop.

These markets are huge. Be prepared to be walking in a crowded area for a couple of hours.

The German Bratwurst was yummy and so was the firewood pizza. The mixed berries crepes were disappointing. The inside uncooked and inedible.

Lots of local artisans and so many stalls! Lots of unique things, make sure you have cash handy, ATM lines get long. Try come early to avoid crowds. Walk over to Princes park afterwards to rest.

If you are a local that can make the most of the fresh produce then worth the trip. For everyone else it's just an outdoor souvenir shop run by assorted carnival folk.

Some lovely handmade bags by Sashiko Design. Every piece designed by Kiyoma Reid who is at the stall, with fabrics made in Japan. Kimono materials with distinct style. www.sashikodesign.com

For lunch I recommend a bratwurst with sauerkraut, and in summer, you can't beat a cup of fresh raspberries with cream.
