One of the best French dips I've had! They leave cloves of garlic in the au jus so the taste is amazing.
It doesn't matter what time or day it is, D. Riese always has a line. Perhaps it's the 35 cent cookies or $1.50 ice cream cookie sandwiches?
Famous deli. Swing by and grab a sandwich to go, or sit and stay awhile. Insanely friendly staff who really know their trade.
Honestly can't fit my thoughts on this place in foursquare's allotted amount. You MUST experience this for yourself! The atmosphere is incomparable to anywhere else. Good food, great wine selection.
Great place if you have a sweet tooth. They offer "cutie pies" which are tiny versions of the daily pies. Cutie pies are a great way to end your meal.
The fries are to die for. The cakes are to die for. The atmosphere is to die for. I cannot stress it enough - check this place out.
Not exactly LA (it's in NoHo), but close enough. This little cafe offers a range of food with great drink specials ($4 beer). Try the arrabbiata for a simple, but delicious, pasta dish.
Quaint, hole-in-the-wall, authentic Italian place. I like to brush up my Italian by speaking with the owner, who is so sweet. Great food and great atmosphere make for a great place.
The weekend special says it all: $3 unlimited mimosas with breakfast purchase (uh, only like $6). A friend and I got two entrees and 13 mimosas for $20. Why would you NOT eat here for brunch?
Tucked away in a quiet area of the usually-bustling 3rd Street. The waitstaff is polite, the food is delicious, and the check comes in a mason jar with a Tootsie Pop! What's not to love?
If you've ever talked to anyone who's visited Blu Jam, they probably told you to try the french toast. Well, let me be another one of those people - TRY THE FRENCH TOAST! It's absolutely heavenly.
With food stands offering anything from French to Chinese and American to Italian cuisine, the Farmers Market offers the best of the food world. The workers here really know their trade.
This Mexican restaurant is famous for its (in)famous fans - Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. Great ambience and delicious food with reasonable prices.
Joan's is a household name for LA locals and a hotspot for celebrity sightings. Come in and pick up a fresh loaf of bread, or stay and order a hot dinner. You can count on fresh, natural ingredients.
Usually just go for water? Splurge and order a Shirley Temple. The glasses are mammoth and they throw in a handful of cherries. This is a great spot for brunch.
Check out the menu for monthly and daily cupcake flavors. The Hummingbird is a unique blend of ingredients with an even more unique name, and it does not disappoint!
