XampanyetTapas • Barcelona, Spain
Probably the most expensive tapas bar on town. But oh so worth it.
Coming during tourist season? But a ticket online in advance and try real hard to get a spot on the elevators. The view is breathtaking. First timers, take a guided tour for more in-depth Gaudi.
Come early in the morning for b/fast & a chat with legendary Juanito. If you're a sweet pastry person, have a chuchu before they're gone. For lunch: don't miss the baby squids w/ beans & balsamico.
Tantalizing mouth-watering tapas with Italian interpretation, great staff, and awesome wine list. Come hungry, you'd want to devour the entire menu.. And by all means don't miss the panna cotta.
A true Barca gem. Mr. Juanito is a legend! Open your mornings with coffee & pastry or a hot dish with a beer on the side. Don't miss the baby calamari with white beans & the legendary chickpeas. Yum!
Comes complete with a box full of chargers to juice up your smartphone if choice, jar of snacks for your four legged BFF and baristas with charm to match this fabulousness :-)
Don't judge the book by its cover. It ain't fancy, they just concentrate on making the best churros in Barca.
Gorgeous tapas bar. Mouth watering food, funky atmosphere, attentive service. And very unpretentious. If you're in Barca, make it a must-stop.
A sweet shrine of the chocoholic kind. I'm equally addicted to their chocolate cookies and dark chocolate with almonds. The irresistibly beautiful tin boxes make getting fat feel artistic ;-)
One of most organized airports I know. A cow's moo, horns and bells on the inter-terminal train puts you right in the Swiss spirit. And if you're a chocoholic, Sprungli's shop is a must-stop.
