On a sunny day grab an inexpensive sandwich from Sainsburys and have a picknick rather than from the expensive coffee stand. If you want a luxury sandwich try the top floor of Harvey Nicks.
Staff always lovely. Some good discounts, especially on big ticket items like TVs and white goods. Good cafe on top floor.
Avoid the Franky & Benny's in here. Truly terrible service and mediocre food. Rubbish. The new Greek place is nice! Great Waterstones with large children section on ground floor is great.
Fresh baked bread at 10:30am on a Sunday morning, and fresh food discounts just before closing time. Friendly staff.
Just opened replacing previous sports bar. Hear good things about the food but not tried yet.
Only tried the burger so far, but that was great. Good coffee too.
Breakfast special for £2.50: fried egg, sausage & bacon. Not for you health-kick, but tasty!
Great sandwiches, soup and excellent coffee, tables for laptop & free wifi. Do try the Czech cake!
The best in sci-fi, fantasy & other genre book with regular book signings, writer meet-ups & book launches. Good chat, great coffee & snacks, plus writer friendly (power for laptops & wifi).
New place, teething problems with til meant over charged (refunded politely) check your bill. Good atmosphere, friendly staff.
Inattentive service, (rather clean tables than serve customers) mediocre food, but Belhaven Best on tap. Try 'Diner 7' next door if u fancy a burger, vastly superior. Only recommend Cameo for drinks
