Fantastic lager-focused brewery; worth visiting in person to try the beers as fresh as possible.

A little out of the way, but super nice and clean brewery. Lots of beer options and super friendly staff.

The empanadas were fantastic, but small. I got the black bean and the macaroni empanadas. Beer is tasty too, obviously. Shirts are overpriced.

Games! They have games here :D It's also a nice calm atmosphere here for day drinking. But don't drink and drive. The Q101 stop is 5 minutes south. The Q100 and Q69 10-15 minute walk.

Head straight to the source and enjoy fresh beer from Queens' largest brewery in the shadow of their barrels full of aging beer.

I disagree that the pretzel is "stunningly" overpriced. It's quite good.& the honey mustard is the best I've had, not being a honey mustard fan. 19-33, Billy Full Stack, Jan, and Kim ftw.

$4 beers! Everything brewed in house! A walk from the train station but definitely well worth it!

Don't get it. Middle of nowhere and I can get their beer cheaper from a bar than them. And wash away that used yeast moat out front so people can sit outside. Christ.

The value of this place was short-lived. Just bounced their prices up 100%. $36 vs $18 for the 18 watt. Guess I'll find another place to drink....

Cheese guy awesome! Beertenders suck. 2 people can't take care of 10 people. Sat for 15 min at Bar with empty beers.

Thai curry chicken pie was awesome and wins the vote for best pie. But the beer outshines all. The BOB lagerrr was quite nice and buttery. Also, enjoy the wonderful bourbon barreled Rudy. Quite yummy.

Everything's good here. For the best value, stick with 64oz 19-33 Lagrrr. You can spend big $$$ in this place. They use Square for their transactions = they are smart. Avoid the small glasses though.

    Patrick Healy · February 10, 2013
  • Tony X.

If you live in Astoria, then there's no reason why you shouldn't buy a growler to take home. That way when you come back, beer is only $8. The 18Watt and the dark lager are insanely delicious. Nice.

On tap during a recent visit were the 19-33 Queens Lagrrr!, a pilsner style beer with a crisp taste, and the Dean Pacific Northwest Mahogany Ale, an amber ale with more complex flavor than the 19-33. Read more
