Sapporo RamenRamen / Noodles • Cambridge, United States
a sick sad pathetic excuse of a ramen. SKIP.
one of the only few places that have durian shake. GET. IT.
unless you reeeally have to go, skip the bathrooms here and head next door to the rail terminal where the bathrooms are much cleaner.
Go here if the line is long at Palio. They have many of the same items, and a better espresso machine.
Nothing beats a New York slice, but the pizza here is pretty good.
Long line? Head to Café Gelato across the hall where they have many of the same items- and a better espresso machine.
there has to be trace amounts of crack in the salsa here (for the grilled meat and fish). so good.
somewhat of a hidden gem. this is my source for fresh chicharrones, but they keep adding stuff, so there's always new items to explore. friendly staff!
a good sign of a good coffee spot: they use beans from toby's estate
HUGE difference before and after renovation! new yorkers, go have a 2nd look and quit bitching that it's teeming with tourists.
if you are able-bodied and/or not geriatric, skip the elevators. they're the worst. THE WORST.
easy to overlook, but the espresso-based drinks here are outstanding. they know how to froth milk like any of those third wave guys.
they really did an amazing job with the renovation. place looks modern and classic at the same time.
similar to powell's in PDX, just a lot more cramped in a new york kind of way. staff knows their shit.
the carnitas plate here is amazing. consistently succulent porky goodness. friendly staff, too. charming little spot.
the baristas here are passionate about espresso and pretty generous with tips on pulling your own shots at home. chat them up!
