Their torta Salvadoreño is fantastic.
I've used and enjoyed 4square for several years. With the launch of Swarm, I retire my account.
Skip the guided tour. The docents read the plaques to you. Get the guide pamphlet at the visitor's desk and go at your own pace.
Grandma is really nice, however the food choices are limited and not particularly tasty or healthy.
Great brunch and a huge beer selection. Several years ago, Esquire rated this as one of the top bars in the country.
If you're ordering the Farmer's Breakfast just for yourself, consider sharing it with another person - it's a lot of food.
Check out the glass floor in the main room - you're looking into an ancient cistern!
Home of Jack Hannah and one of the premiere US zoos. Also check out The Wilds - a partner organization and zoo - about an hour east of Columbus.
This clothing optional, black sand beach is beautiful. Recommend shoes for the short climb down the rocks to the beach.
Skip the nap inducing tour. It's expensive and uninteresting.
Ask the staff about their favorite local eateries. They'll give you great advice.
The food here is amazing. I recommend the carne asada over the chicken.
Definitely walk down to the Cerritos Surf Colony and check it out. Guests of the hotel and the colony have access to amenities at both locations.
Rain will make using the muddy unpaved road into the colony difficult. The paved road just south of the entrance is better. Take a right off the paved road just before the condos & follow it around.
This place has great vegetarian options.
