Secret doors and compartments all over the place. Best way to find them: ask a kid!

Although underage and lacking in funds, Henry Strater would not give up his dream of owning a grand hotel. He added a few years to his age, borrowed money, and forged on with help from his brothers.

The most beautiful Victorian Hotel ever. Comfortable and elegant, the best food in Durango (there are 3 restaurants!) a really fun melodrama theater and A+ service. Try happy hour in the Office.

the in-room snacks and water are surprisingly affordable. $2 for a water instead of like $4 at so many other places.
