Wines crafted with place in mind. Our artisanal hand crafted wines are to showcase the best of the terroir around the state of Virginia.
$10 tastings cannot be beat. Bottles are pricey. Try the Killer Cluster riesling.
This place rocks. Venue, staff, wines are second to none
Staff was rude!! Wine was alright but didn't make up for the atmosphere.
Winemaker Jordan Harris http://schiller-wine.blogspot.com/2012/12/vineyard-walk-wine-tasting-in-vineyard.html is a very interesting and very knowledgable guy
Loved the Long Bomb Edition 4 and the Charval!
Be sure to check in before going into the tasting room as there is no service inside. Also they had really great wines and friendly staff.
LOVE the new releases!!!
Got two free tastings for the three of us using check-in. Nice wines but servers were very inattentive.
Rose is great!
Our concierge Clay at Donovan House says that this winery makes a perfect getaway on a nice day. The Long Bomb is a wonderfully delicious red.
I have friends who love Tarara. I think most of their wines are just okay. Their Charval is their best, IMO. Nice location, great views, good summer concerts.
New wine maker and excellent wines!
Saturday evening concerts at the lake. $15 per person bring a picnic and drink some wine while listening to live music.
They are open daily, but tastings are $10 for six wines priced around $10-$15 for a bottle. Pricey tasting in my opinion.
