The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. They gave me ideas as to what to do with my trip to San Diego while I was there. They were a great team.

Poolside room was given to me because I asked for a good view. Front desk attendant was extremely nice. I will definitely be staying here when I return. Only small problem was the thin walls. Awesome.

Maids are SO loud in the morning. "Por vida!" Nice beds tho. Restrooms are not private at all. Checkers were fun tho. Walls are thin.

A lot of fun to be had in this somewhat campy hotel from the 40s. The Johnny Weismuller designed pool is a constant party.

Hotel has lots of history and so much potential, but is in need of serious updating. However, rooms were clean, staff was nice, and pool was great.
