The Ladd SchoolJuly 30, 2012Please observe the "No Trespassing" signs, and above all, please be respectful of the buildings; they are historical landmarks. Thank you, and happy adventuring!- The Ladd SchoolAugust 20, 2013Unfortunately, 4 of the last buildings were demolished in August 2013. Only 3 buildings remain, and it is uncertain for how much longer. If you're going to visit, there is no time like the present.

Founded in 1908, this former institution for people with developmental disabilities was abandoned in 1994. Eight derelict buildings remain.
