Fietsbel: Best art house cinema in town, wonderfull bar and you're allowed to take your drinks inside the cinema itself when the movie starts to play.
Önder Ceylan: An art house cinema with warming atmosphere which is located in the hip De Pijp. It's a tradition to enjoy the neighborhood with nice drinks and etc before / after the movie.

Jeroen Kraan: Best cinema in Amsterdam. Compared to other arthouse places the screens and seats are way better and the film selection is usually excellent. The weekend silent films with live music are awesome!

Gino Querero: One of few nice cinemas left in Amsterdam.
Wilbert Pilkington-smythe: you can even take your own drinks in , far better atmosphere than the cinemas in the centre , bar get rather crowded tho.
