Very chill cafe with a great vibe and ambiance. Nice selection of desserts, good coffee and mint tea, plus a good range of freshly made sandwiches. Ideal neighbourhood cafe, great for people watching.

Apparently owner is local celebrity so good for people watching, very glamorous crowd. Food good, doesn't quite reach the peaks of Garage. Dessert is excellent, try the sweet sharing plate for 2.
Ideal place to have a nice breakfast lunch or dinner. The restaurant is a favorite amongst locals because of the delicious food, good atmosphere and friendly staff.

A great place for....most things you would like to do in a park. Picnic, relaxing strolls, soak in some sun, go for a run, people watch etc. Also, it's not as busy as Vondelpark so that's a bonus
Lovely park where you can just chill and relax with friends. Or play some football. Less busy than Vondelpark
Picnics, bars, clubs, cinema, galleries, this park has it all! Try biking farther west of westergasfabriek for serene nature including tons of hopping bunnies.

Amazing selection but definitely overpriced! Check out the collector's book editions, and sit by the widow to people watch. They also have lots of good mags.
Love the non-fiction selection on the top floor and the fact that they also sell some of my favorite 'uk-only' food
