Pork chop is ridiculously good. Each one weighs over a pound. Jalapeño mac-and-cheese is yum/spicy. Pinto beans, pickles/onions, and white bread included free with food purchase. Highly recommended!

Go for the brisket and beef ribs! Pork ribs were okay. Mac n cheese with jalapeño and bacon is the best side.
The pecan crusted catfish with homemade hot sauce is excellent. Jalapeño cornbread also very good. Friendly, helpful staff.

If your stomach can't last the wait at Veracruz, Kerlin BBQ is a worthy alternative. Pork Ribs (black pepper rub) are the best. Jalapeño Dill Potato Salad was excellent. Veggie Kolache wasn't good.

A word of warning on the Amarillo burger: it is definitely delicious, but the serrano peppers will give you a #redhotpooper the next day.
The Amarillo is still good, and the peppers sometimes hot enough to give me the hiccups, but I miss the old hand cut fries.
The Mediterranean is yummy...add hot peppers for kick! You also need to try the lentil kale sausage soup!
