Serious Eats: Best bánh mì in Boston, with fresh baguettes overflowing with daikon radish, pickled carrots, fresh cilantro, your choice of protein and a squirt of fish sauce.

Enrico Manalo: Pretty solid bun thit nuong cha gio, though the da chanh came hot, with ice in it. Never had it like that in Vietnam. Nice staff, but tra da is like 4 bucks.

Boston Phoenix: Classic bánh mì foundation on a lightly toasted baguette from with interesting flourishes- pickled carrots and daikon, cilantro, house-made asian mayo, and optional sliced fresh jalapeños. Superb.

Thuan Hien: Get the Ca Nuong(fried Catfish). A whole catfish baked then deep fried. Tear pieces off & wrap it with various veggies, vermicelli & rice paper. It's a Plate you should share amongst 2-3 other people.
