If looking for a solid workout, walk the promenade from the 4th Avenue and Shore Road entrance down to 92nd Street overpass. Its a healthy hike but bring water on a hot day & a camera.

If you're within a few blocks, the aroma of freshly baked bread will draw you in to this placed packed with delicious sandwiches, pastries and of course bread.
The aroma of fresh rolls permeates two blocks... Terrif service and greatly recommended!
Light!. Camera! Walk? They make a short movie of you walking and how your foot hits the pavement. They then show you shoes for your specific foot/gait.
Awesome staff, and they accept used running shoe donations, which is such a great service to both the running community and the community at large.
