Look past the shabby décor and dive into a delicious assortment of Kababs, the lamb was succulent. Try the Laghman noodles and the Carrot Salad. BYOB.
The lamb shish kebabs are divine. The carrot salad, manti and lagman are also awesome. This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC :)

The food was just amazing. We loved the meatballs , the Lori Kababs, and Spicy fish. The Persian ice cream is to die for.
Elevated Persian classics made with care. Plumb chicken and Lori Kabab were next level. Order as much as many dishes as you can, but leave room for sorbet and ice cream.
Everything was great, the best was the duck fezenjan and the steak kebab. This is a modern Persian place, not traditional. The tadig and the polo shirin were also very good. Highly recommend Sofreh.

1st time I went in summer '17 when just opened, was great. Today's meal = sub-par. Since when does a doner kabob have a crispy flatbread-esque shell? Should be doughy pita. Charging for sauce also 😣

I go to a lot of kebab places as Im Turkish and this one definitely meets my high standards. The bread is incredible, sauces are the right amount of spicy, and the portions of veggies/meat is on point
Kafta Kebab was amazing. Plus the music was so fun that I almost started belly dancing.
The kebab and shawerma plates are quite good and offer a good variety of food on the plate. I also tried the appetizers and thought they were great. Definitely tempting to order mezze/tapas style.

We had a salad, a khachapuri, a chicken Kishlik, and kompot. The kabob was just good. All the rest was great.

Go no further than the doner cylinders in the window. The guy will cut a great quantity of the moist herbed meat and deposit it in a sandwich or on a platter along with salad and well-oiled pilaf. Read more.
