So slow, but where else have you ever seen Ferris wheel cars that actually slide back-and-forth independently on separate rails as they continue to go around the circle? Old-fashioned fun
The Wonder Wheel has been in operation since 1920 & was designated a NYC Landmark in 1989. It is 150 ft tall, holds 160 passengers with 8 stationary cars & 16 cars that slide along serpentine tracks.
Go for for rocking cages, and try not to think about the fact that this thing is nearly 100 years old ;) The view to the ocean and Manhattan is stunning, so try for a golden hour/sunset ride.
If you sprinkle a bit of sand on the slide right before going down it goes extra fast!

A great little neighborhood playground perfect for cruisers and new walkers. No shade though, so best in early mornings during the summer.
Soul Summit was great, well attended and I attended both, always left in sweat. Tip- wear comfort shoes, something you don’t mind getting dusty, even if you don’t dance at all (-:

Great shaded space for toddlers. Seasonal water fountain dragon sculpture. No sandbox, swings or slides which is great for low stress playtime. Bug spray or cover up against mosquitoes on humid days.
Although there's this amazing dragon sculpture water feature & the area is well shaded, there's not a lot for kids to climb on and do.
