their temporary exhibitions have been great now for the past few years and the permanent exhibition is pretty good too. also, the building itself is beautiful.

The "Capa in color" exhibit (running until September 2015) is absolutely fantastic. Well worth the low entry price! Just 800 HUF for students.

Very interesting to visit. Has a big collection on the East, especially Turkey and Iran. Beautiful modernism exhibition too.
An impressive building that's definitely worth visiting. Beautiful outside might be decieving, as interior wasn't completely preserved and the exhibition seems small fot its size.
Great building, but the permanent collection is a bit disappointing. May have some temporary exhibitions like the one currently on about cycling.

I love the architecture of the museum, but the exhibitions were a bit disappointing. However, the entrance is very cheap if you're an European citizen under 26 years, so take the risk. ;-)

I think the exhibits are a bit lacking, but getting to see the old architecture of the castle cellars and the chapel is very cool.

Beautiful neoclassical building containing a great collection of historical exhibits relating to the Carpathian basin from prehistoric to modern times.
Big authentic exposition, a must visit for history lovers. Take an audio guide to make it more interesting. But be careful, it may take u more than 3 hours with a thoughtful walk inside.
