meida mcneal: Beautiful building. So many nooks and crannies to explore.
HISTORY: Completed in 1897 it was dedicated as the city's original Chicago Public Library. This monument was inspired by the neo-classical style of the World's Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893.
Explore Chicago: The Chicago Cultural Center was the backdrop for several scenes from The Untouchables, including Frank Nitti’s (Billy Drago) dramatic demise at the hand of federal agent Eliot Ness (Kevin Kostner).
Jonathan Ferrera: A free museum (with suggested donation). The art and artifacts cover a vast part of Mexican culture and history, including its relation to the US and the city of Chicago.
Chicago Dancing Festival: Join us on Saturday, July 14th at 11 am for our Bolero Chicago workshop! If you RSVP, you also get a chance to win 2 VIP tickets to a performance during this year's Chicago Dancing Festival! Read more.
United Latino Pride: NMMA has been a proud supporter of the LBGTQA community at large, hosting Queer Prom, and a wealth of other Community events, they also have amazing art exhibits, and are largely free!

Deandra Grant: Very nice wedding reception with great food.
Phil Watson: The only one of its kind, this museum shows the inside of the Michigan Ave bridge while tracing the history of the Chicago river from the 17th century to today. Cute, inexpensive, and worth a visit!
HISTORY: Making its debut in 2006, this museum is dedicated to the history of the Chicago River and the city‚'s movable bridges. The museum is located in the southwest tower of the Michigan Avenue Bridge.
Álvaro Lens: Free admission on Sundays!
Jonathan Ferrera: A fun museum that is easily missable when in Block 37. It does have surprisingly small floorspace from what you would expect from a museum.
Shane: a museum inside a mall? yes!
Kirsten Agnello-Dean: Great add to Block 37 and always free, rotating exhibits, and a cute little gift shop. It's on the 3rd floor. Unfolded was my favorite so far, but can't wait for the next one on gaming.
vivdoge: An amazingly delightful museum with many interactive exhibits!
Becca Allen: Small but well-thought-out, full of fun interactivity. Bring a notebook because you’re going to want to take notes on the authors and books you learn about!
Joel&Megan Hilgendorf: Small, price higher then I’d prefer, but great interactive elements and middle/high school students would learn so much. MPlease give teachers a larger discount.
Ashland Thomas: One of the best exhibits ever. So beautiful. Just disappointed at the lack of postcards & prints :-(
Ekaterina R: James Tissot stands out. What an amazing selection of his work.
Max Koss: Amazing Manets! An over abundance of Tissot, who is not a great artist. Interesting dresses, and a weird room with AstroTurf, bird chirping and park benches. And an eye opening hang of Seurat's Jatte.
