I found Blue Sky Bakery at Printer's Row Farmers Market. Their pear ginger scone was perfect - not too sweet, just like a scone should be. We bought a bag of granola, too. Yum!

Scones and donuts by Do-Rite, Dark Matter coffee on drip. Cool coffee house with lots of African-American focused art for sale. Very quiet inside so I'd imagine it's a great place to study.
They use Dark Matter beans and know how to brew it, which means it's delish. Fresh Scone City scones and Do-rite Donuts round out their pastry selection.
