My favorite BBQ spot in Denver. They just renovated to be more "gentrification-friendly" with swanky chairs and a rooftop. Looks great but I will miss the hole-in-the-wall feel. Same great food.
Extraordinary BBQ: burnt ends sandwich, Nashville hot chicken, fries, wings... exceptionally friendly as well. $15/ entree was a bit rich for the genre though
Smoke Sheet: Great brisket, burnt ends, spare ribs, turkey, creamed corn, mac n cheese, fries, and okra.
Absolutely everything is great here, be sure to get burnt ends and check out their daily special. Dont miss the $2 beer tub!

Best BBQ I have found since moving west from the south
I had pork, pork ribs, lean beef brisket, cowboy beans, collard greens and cornbread muffin. Everything was great, a definite repeat for BBQ.
Hands down one of the best BBQ spots in Denver. I highly recommend the fatty side of the brisket and the poblano Mac and cheese.
As a Texan... this is legit bbq.

$4 wait drink, while you wait for your table. The brisket was some of the best I have ever had.
The Braised Greens, Brussel Sprouts with winter squash, and the brisket were wonderful. The lamb was just alright, not the most flavorful, and the crawfish with grits was very, very garlicky.

Great tasting sweet tea! Bbq ribs were juicy and succulent. Each rib is pre-sliced so you can enjoy holding and eating the rib by hand. Slaw was good. Mac n cheese was disappointing though

Go to Ba Le and get a delicious sandwich (I love the BBQ pork) with spicy veggies on crunchy french bread for less than three bucks. For dessert, the taro frozen yogurt is great. Read more.
