The bread is great. The pastries are great too. An Edmonton institution.
You can't go wrong here. Everything is good. My faves are: braided challah (Fridays), bagels, whole wheat, rye bread with seeds, poppyseed butterflies, pecan buns, pies. You get the picture.
Staff super friendly and customers extra friendly one lovely lady came up to me after I walked in and said my dear you need to take a number and they have the best Ice cream or sorbet nice and tasty
Best Soy Lattes in the city! Try the Vegan Banana Chocolate Chip muffin, it's to die for!

The people who work in the cafe are kind of rude and arrogant but they have some really nice pastries

Macchiato with one shot is enough. It's good coffee but a bit pricy, but the service and the place are good enough.
